Paying homage. First to the start of baseball games and the other. secondly to the fallible nature of humans. Or Maybe it's just superstition, we've done it this way for a few years now, tradition?
A few tables at each of the bars can handle larger teams (8+). But for the most part it's easier with 6 or less team members. If you have a large team send someone early, before 6:15pm, to claim a table for the team. The short answer is there is no limit on team size.
To get the best table to fit everyone on the team comfortably arrive by 6:15pm. At Montana and sometimes Sam's by 6:45pm all the tables are likely to be claimed.
Both bars have full service bars. Sam's Tavern has great burgers and traditional pub food. Montana doesn't have a kitchen so outside food (not drinks) are allowed. See above for a few great suggestions.
Yes. Sam's Tavern and Montana have always been dog friendly.

The Winter Olympics in Italy this year is a spectacle of icy prowess and frosty rivalries. But let's not forget the hilarious side of things. After all, who doesn't love a good laugh, especially when it's colder than a penguin's toenails out there?
"Picture this - athletes from around the globe, bundled up in more layers than an onion, sliding, gliding, and occasionally colliding on the world stage. Yes, that's the Winter Olympics for you! And this year, Italy played host, making it the 'Pasta Olympics' if you will. There was more sliding than in a greased spaghetti contest! But let's not get saucy; let's talk about the games.
And then there's the commentators. You know who I'm talking about - the ones who make everything sound so dramatic. I mean, I love Snoop Dogg as much as the next guy, but when he's commentating, I'm half-expecting him to start rapping about ice skates and snowboards.
In the end, the Winter Olympics in Italy is a delightful mix of thrilling sports, chilly weather, and a few laughs along the way. Here's to the athletes who not only showed their athletic prowess but also gave us a few chuckles with their icy antics. And remember, folks, life's a bit like the Winter Olympics - it's all about how you handle the slippery slopes!"
Online Question:
What is the only U.S. state to have hosted both the Summer and Winter Olympics?
