Because Montana has no kitchen, they allow outside food. Two options close by:
Dino's Tomato Pie, on the corner of Olive Way and Denny, on the same block.
Yalla, right next door.

Paying homage. First to the start of baseball games and the other. secondly to the fallible nature of humans. Or Maybe it's just superstition, we've done it this way for a few years now, tradition?
A few tables at each of the bars can handle larger teams (8+). But for the most part it's easier with 6 or less team members. If you have a large team send someone early, before 6:15pm, to claim a table for the team. The short answer is there is no limit on team size.
To get the best table to fit everyone on the team comfortably arrive by 6:15pm. At Montana and sometimes Sam's by 6:45pm all the tables are likely to be claimed.
Both bars have full service bars. Sam's Tavern has great burgers and traditional pub food. Montana doesn't have a kitchen so outside food (not drinks) are allowed. See above for a few great suggestions.
Yes. Sam's Tavern and Montana have always been dog friendly.

Capitol Hill Block Party July 19th & 20th
Music festivals. You know, those glorious annual pilgrimages where we collectively decide that showering is optional and artisanal hot dogs are a sound investment. We gather in fields – or in the case of Seattle, cordoned-off city blocks – to "experience" music. What that usually means is standing 50 yards from a tiny stage, nodding vaguely while someone with more glitter than sense screams the lyrics to a song you mostly remember from a car commercial.
Now, Capitol Hill Block Party, bless its urban heart, is Seattle's version of this grand tradition. It's less "commune with nature" and more "commune with 20,000 other people sweating on Pike Street." It's where your friend from that liberal arts college who's now "in tech" pretends they still know every indie band, while simultaneously complaining about the price of a single craft beer. You'll see a lot of ironic mustaches, a surprising number of fanny packs, and probably get elbowed by someone Instagramming their kombucha. It's fun, it's chaotic, and it's proof that even the most cynical among us can be convinced to pay $20 for a tiny cup of lukewarm rosé if there's a good beat dropping. Enjoy!
Online Question:
Held in Somerset, England, Glastonbury is now one of the top music festivals on the planet. A far cry from today’s prices, a ticket to the first edition in 1970 cost £1 and included free beverage?
