Paying homage. First to the start of baseball games and the other. secondly to the fallible nature of humans. Or Maybe it's just superstition, we've done it this way for a few years now, tradition?
A few tables at each of the bars can handle larger teams (8+). But for the most part it's easier with 6 or less team members. If you have a large team send someone early, before 6:15pm, to claim a table for the team. The short answer is there is no limit on team size.
To get the best table to fit everyone on the team comfortably arrive by 6:15pm. At Montana and sometimes Sam's by 6:45pm all the tables are likely to be claimed.
Both bars have full service bars. Sam's Tavern has great burgers and traditional pub food. Montana doesn't have a kitchen so outside food (not drinks) are allowed. See above for a few great suggestions.
Yes. Sam's Tavern and Montana have always been dog friendly.

We choose a weekly theme for the online question and the bonus questions. These usually have something to do with a current holiday or event, or anniversary.
Throughout the quiz we ask several bonus questions the correct answer is worth a pint.
Good evening, ladies and gentlemen! You know, there's something about Tax Day that really gets me going. I mean, isn't it just the most wonderful time of the year? It's like Christmas, but instead of Santa Claus, we get Uncle Sam. And instead of presents, we get...paperwork.
I know you're all educated folks here, probably spent years studying the intricacies of quantum physics or medieval literature or something else that's absolutely useless on Tax Day. Because no matter how many degrees you have, when it comes to filling out those forms, we all feel like we're back in kindergarten trying to color inside the lines.
And isn't it funny how the IRS expects us to calculate our own taxes? I mean, they're the ones with the fancy calculators and the degrees in accounting. I can barely balance my checkbook. But sure, I'll just whip up my own tax return, no problem. It's like going to a restaurant and they hand you the ingredients and say, 'Cook it yourself!'
But hey, at least we get to do it all again next year, right? Because nothing says 'fun' like a recurring annual event that makes you question your own mathematical competence. So here's to Tax Day, the only day of the year where we all feel equally clueless. Cheers!"
Remember, laughter is the best medicine, unless you owe back taxes. Then, I recommend a good accountant.
