Paying homage. First to the start of baseball games and the other. secondly to the fallible nature of humans. Or Maybe it's just superstition, we've done it this way for a few years now, tradition?
A few tables at each of the bars can handle larger teams (8+). But for the most part it's easier with 6 or less team members. If you have a large team send someone early, before 6:15pm, to claim a table for the team. The short answer is there is no limit on team size.
To get the best table to fit everyone on the team comfortably arrive by 6:15pm. At Montana and sometimes Sam's by 6:45pm all the tables are likely to be claimed.
Both bars have full service bars. Sam's Tavern has great burgers and traditional pub food. Montana doesn't have a kitchen so outside food (not drinks) are allowed. See above for a few great suggestions.
Yes. Sam's Tavern and Montana have always been dog friendly.

Unicorn’s favorite game? Hide and sparkle!
Happy National Unicorn Day 4/9, folks! Now, I know what you're thinking – "Great, another day to celebrate an animal that doesn't even exist." But let's be honest, we all secretly wish unicorns were real, just like we wish our student loans would magically disappear.
Now, I understand that we're a group of educated individuals here. We've got degrees, we've read books, we've written essays. But let's be real, how many of us spent our college years doodling unicorns in the margins of our textbooks instead of paying attention to that lecture on quantum physics?
Unicorns, they're like the ideal roommate, aren't they? They're quiet, they're clean, they're always there when you need a ride home from the bar. And the best part? They don't eat your leftovers from the fridge.
National Unicorn Day is a day to celebrate our love for these mythical creatures and the joy they bring to our lives. It's a day to let our imaginations run wild and believe in the impossible. After all, if we can survive four years of college and still retain a sense of humor, anything is possible, right? So, let's raise our glasses to the unicorn, the most educated animal that never existed.
Online Question:
What country is the homeland of unicorns as they don the unicorn proudly on their coat of arms?
